I'm Anthony Grosso, and my real estate journey began in 2007, around the same time I joined the Port Authority Police. Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, real estate quickly became my passion.
Within a few weeks of being a police officer, I knew I just wasn’t built for the structure and routine. I loved the comradery, and as tough as it was to let go of the pension and benefits I knew I had more to do.
I dove into real estate as a broker, licensed mortgage originator, and, more significantly, as an investor. Over the years, I've helped several hundred clients in buying, selling, and financing their homes – from first-time homebuyers to novice investors. We bought, refinanced, and repeated the process.
My most significant achievement lies in my personal real estate investments, where I used the market to create a pension, build net worth, and retire from policing 10 years early.
The true benefit to my clients is that I've crafted my life independently. My expertise is hands-on, not in sales. If I've seemed quiet the last two years, it's because it wasn't the optimal time. My role isn't to sell houses or loans – any realtor or bank can handle that. How you structure your first deal sets you up for the future. Early in my career I came close to making a few mistakes, that if I had made, I know I wouldn't be where I am today.
My experience is law enforcement, my experience is personal and the only advice I ever give is what I would do for myself.
One of the main things I do is go to union meetings and commands to speak at meetings. I cover a variety of topics like first time home buying, owning investment properties to creating budgets & tax planning. It's something I do to give back as well as support the organization in and fundraising and events they need.
